Main Street Studio & Gallery is a small, family-oriented portrait studio located on Main Street in historic downtown Higginsville, Missouri, about 50 miles from Kansas City.

The studio opened its doors in October 1993. Since then, Main Street Studio has become the area's top studio specializing in families, high school seniors, and children's photography. The studio boast a spacious 5000 square feet of top quality backgrounds, sets, and equipment.

Our award-winning staff is quite versatile and routinely photographs high school seniors, children, families, and other portraits.

 

Main Street Studio wants to invite you to join our portrait family. As a full service studio we have photographed babys, kids, seniors, families, couples, pets, sports, dances, reunions, etc. We have been honored to take an individual's very first pictures and equally as honored to take an individuals final portrait.

As a professional studio that has been in this business for over 17 years we have collected a wide assortment of props, sets, and many backgrounds. We can mix and match our selection to achieve the portrait you have always wanted.

Session Fees-
Our session fees are very reasonable. Studio kid sessions are only $19. Families of 3-4 have session fees of $39. For families of 6 and over our session fee is $59. This fee covers not only the whole family but also every combination that your can think of. We will photograph small families, siblings, grandchildren, etc.

Minimum Orders-
We don't believe in them! Why? Well, while some studios require you guarantee that you will like your pictures enough to spend a predetermined amount we believe that it is our responsibility to make sure you like the portraits before you commit to placing an order. In these trying financial times we allow our qulaity and creativeness to sell our products and we want you to buy what you want and what you need.

Retouching-
We fix blemishes, scars, glasses glare, baby rashes, runny noses, even black eyes and scraped knees. Our proofs are retouched slightly but every portrait that you purchase will be completely retouched. We want you to look your best in every portrait. The better you look, the better we feel.

Outdoor Sessions-
We will go just about anywhere for your personal settings. Say what you want about Missouri but we have some of the most beautiful and varied scenery in the nation. Old barns, fall leaves, spring flowers, wheat fields, ponds, bridges, and family homes. A $99 location session fee applies to anywhere in Lafayette Country. A small mileage fee will be charged for locations out of county.
